Founder Randy McCall gave us this direction when he launched our company as ServiceMaster Building Maintenance and served as president for 20 years.

Since its founding in 1979, Stratos has built a rich heritage of moral and ethical principles, which are incorporated into every facet of the way we do business. As a franchise, we have the strength and resources of a multi-billion dollar national brand coupled with the integrity and accessibility of a local ownership model. That formula has served as a catalyst to make Stratos one of the largest ServiceMaster Clean janitorial franchises in the world. Serving business and industrial clients from Memphis, Tenn. to Tuscaloosa, Ala. and throughout Mississippi, our team at Stratos is committed to providing professional cleaning services by integrating integrity into everything we do. 

In 2009, our company changed names from WRM & Associates LTD, d.b.a. ServiceMaster Building Maintenance to Stratos, Inc., d.b.a. ServiceMaster by Stratos. We believe our new name, Stratos, describes exactly the level we’re committed to reaching in our quality, customer service and integrity. It’s the standard we want to set in our industry – no one goes higher! The Stratos name change goes hand in hand with the new purpose statement for our company: “ServiceMaster by Stratos is a contract janitorial company that provides innovative cleaning solutions allowing our customers to focus on their business and not their facility.”
