COVID-19: Cleanliness is more important than ever
We at ServiceMaster by Stratos are trained experts in creating clean, safe and healthy environments, and we sincerely hope you are well. The outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), offers an opportunity to reinforce the importance of keeping workspaces clean, safe and healthy. While experiencing a global pandemic can be jarring, it is certainly not a time to panic. Our trusted service partners are here to partner with customers in keeping their workspaces clean. To provide the best service possible, we have made a few changes.
- The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends using the same products and procedures used to fight the flu to ward off the coronavirus as well. Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken these recommendations a step further and upgraded our disinfectant to the EPA-registered SaniMaster 7.
- We have increased our use of SaniMaster 7 on high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches.
- We have also conducted training refreshers with service partners in an effort to ensure our teams are confident and prepared.
With the recent passage of the Stay At Home Executive Order by Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland, many businesses have been forced to close until the order is lifted on April 6. For those that have shuttered, our cleaning services will create an environment ready to welcome its occupants back when the time is deemed right by appropriate leadership. Essential businesses that remain open may wish to have a professional janitorial service come in to service their facility one time or through ongoing cleanings – rest assured, our service partners can do that too. And, while we hope it will not be necessary, our team is qualified and equipped with the required protocols and processes should any pathogen outbreak occur within a facility we service.
As a reminder, the most important steps in preventing the spread of this virus are for staff to use good personal hygiene, stay home if sick and for employers to provide disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizers if their offices have been deemed essential and remain open. If you have questions or concerns and want to discuss, we are more than happy to speak with you about what we’re seeing in the marketplace and what we’re doing for our customers. Give us a call at 901-683-0064. Stay safe, everyone. We’re going to get through this together.
