Service partner spotlight: Linda Hester
Here at Stratos, we refer to our front-line staff as service partners. Why? Because we want to ensure our business partners, customers and service partners themselves understand the value they bring to the company. Stratos simply cannot be what we strive for it to be in the marketplace without their hard work and commitment. They are an integral part of our business, helping us build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers. Standing firm on this idea has resulted in employee retention far above the industry average.
Now, allow us to introduce you to service partner Linda Hester. She has been part of the Stratos family since 2017. Linda’s first assignments were at Memphis Shelby County Schools, including Snowden School, Downtown Elementary, Idlewild Elementary and Bruce Elementary. Over the past six years, she has also served at some of the Mid-South’s most high-profile facilities. Think Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, FedExForum and BlueOval City. If she had to choose, her favorite work so far has been with FedExForum, although she did find it fascinating to see how the massive BlueOval City site in Brownsville, Tennessee, is coming together. No matter where she’s placed, she brings her best to work every day and enjoys interacting with leadership, fellow service partners, customers and their customers, especially Grizzlies fans.
Since joining the team, Linda feels like she has grown a lot as a person. In 2017, she was grieving the loss of her oldest son, and Stratos provided her an outlet to not only keep her mind occupied, but one that made her feel loved and cared for, as well.
“They’re like a family. I love working with Mrs. Stacy and Monica. They are both so sweet.” – Linda Hester
A native of Coldwater, Mississippi, Linda moved to Memphis when she was 19 years old. She raised her family here, which has blossomed to include three children, a dozen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, specifically horror and action films. We’re so grateful for Linda’s sweet spirit and all that it brings to our organization!
